What IR1050 adds
The practical reason to use 1050 nm is not marketing novelty. It gives another optical contrast point that can be compared with IR940 and visible channels. That comparison can help detect whether a change is consistent across vascular channels or specific to deeper near-infrared behavior.
This is useful for fluid trend, perfusion trend, stress-response trend, and signal-confidence estimation when motion, pressure, and temperature are stable enough.
How to phrase the claim
