Application

HRV is useful, but easy to misuse

HRV can support recovery and stress trend interpretation, but short windows, motion, missed beats, and low signal quality can destroy reliability. SciFold should state these limits openly.

What SciFold can track

Time-domain features such as RMSSD-like and SDNN-like trends may be useful when pulse intervals are stable. Longer aggregation improves reliability for daily or hourly trend summaries.

What not to claim

Avoid presenting short-window HRV as a precise diagnostic measure. Frequency-domain HRV is especially sensitive to recording duration and stationarity.

Product framing

The right output is recovery strain trend with confidence, not a medical HRV diagnosis.
